As a new concept in the BBQ space, Bandits requested a logo that conveyed it’s 1970s inspiration — the Firebird in Smokey & The Bandit.

Opening a small business is always a challenge, and even more so in a small town. MN Eis is a family-owned ice cream and candy shop in New Ulm, MN and the design reflects the town’s German heritage.

Thrusters Lounge
Thrusters is a popular watering hole in a beach town near San Diego, CA. The owner asked me to come up with a new logo to be used on t-shirts, hats and other merch. A Thruster is a three finned surfboard, which is shown in the logo.

Fired Wood-Fired Foods
A craft brewery in Wadena, MN decided to start offering their visitors food options cooked in a custom-built wood-fired oven. They asked me to create a logo that represented the hand-crafted nature of the new venture.

Bakery on Main
As a new bakery in a small town, the owners wanted to make a splash without being flashy. I designed this logo to be understated and added alternate options to be used as labels for product packaging.

Nabinachi Wozani Development, LLC
This Native-American-owned real estate developer came to me for a logo as they prepared to launch this new venture. A simple design featuring “building blocks” served to represent the constuction-based operation.

The owner of MN Eis (logo above) was so successful with the ice cream/candy venture that they decided to open a Christmas-oriented gift shop in town. She asked me to design a logo for the new business.
